We want to create a PV the Staff can be proud of
Hikasa: So in the PV, while presenting my image, I wanted to make the team proud.
– “Proud”?
Hikasa: ”The person who made this piece of clothing is my costume designer!” or “This hairstyle is nice isn’t it? It is the work of my hairstylist!” “This cameraman shot the video!” is what I wanted people to know.
Nagahama: Even if we introduce the backstage staff in the PV or on media, it won’t be anything to be proud of, it won’t be a good introduction to the hard work they put in to the production. But their hard work can be seen from the beautiful or cool Hikasa Youko in the video, people would ask “Who did this?” The staff understand the serious image of Hikasa Youko through this no doubt. Is the current Hikasa Youko someone who sings covered in sweat in her normal clothes without a special outfit and without her hair done or make-up on? It isn’t, right? With the help of a lot of people, the musical compositions are done and then the project progresses. All that put together is what makes up the seriousness of Hikasa Youko. Thus, my job is to capture my storyboard which portrays Hikasa’s image and on top of that, the set, props as well as the outfits. In addition to those there’s the band and of course Hikasa san herself.
